Beginning in the winter term, I completed a 3 year program where we were taught how to:
- Contribute as an individual team member and a member of a game development team to the effective completion of a game development product.
- Apply conceptual game design elements to support the ongoing iteration, creation, programming, and design of games.
- Utilize Game Engine functionality at an advanced level to support real-time games and simulations.
- Concieve, prototype, develop, test, and evaluate procedures for the creation, design, programming, production and testing of games in a group environment.
- Develop strategies for ongoing personal and professional development to enhance work performance in the game industry.
Final project for the Game Development program at Algonquin College. Students were recquired to form "Studios" of 10-15 people, and were expected to produce a functioning game based on all of the concepts and course material previously taught. Students were given around 8 months to plan, prepare, and produce a fairly complex game that would be shown off at Ontario's LevelUp Expo in Toronto. For this project I was responsible for:
Game Jam submission for Jame Gam 34. The Jams prompts were "You are the final boss" and it had a special item requirement which was a Swan. Every participant was given a week and a day to work on their submissions. On this project I was responsible for:
